The Simplicity Beyond Complexity

I just received this note from David McAlister-Wilson at Wesley Theological Seminary…

Adam, I wanted to pass on a quote from Oliver Wendall Holmes that I use to articulate the goal of good theological education.  Your seeing gray puts me in mind of it:  “I wouldn’t give a fig for the simplicity this side of complexity; I would give everything for the simplicity on the far side of complexity.
