Sun Nite, I thought Junius Dotson message was absolutely fantastic and I’ve talked to so many that feel the same. I have family in Wichita and have left many, many family events early in order to get back to COR by 5. I have found my new Wichita church … no need to rush back anymore! Adam, thank-you for persuading Junius to come and preach here this weekend. Do you have a website for his church — I can’t find one for UMC Saint Mark Wichita?

hey adam,
john ortberg, in “God is closer than you think” said that when Jesus taught the disciples this prayer, what he was saying was “bring up there down here”.
and everytime we care for someone, love someone, forgive someone, grieve with someone, etc. we too are bringing up there down here. pretty cool, eh?

I agree that Junius Dotson did an outstanding job preaching at COR. Any chance of ever adding Junius, or someone with a similar preaching style to COR’s ministry? I feel this would be one step in helping us to bridge some of the racial divide we often discuss that is still felt throughout KC.
