This morning as I listened to your sermon on forgiveness, I couldn't help but be reminded of the lecture I recently saw on Oprah (11 minutes) and YouTube (90 minutes) from Randy Pausch, the computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon who is dying from pancreatic cancer. His lecture, although titled "Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," was obviously much more. It was about how to live your life. And although he did not credit God in the lecture, the principles were clearly Biblical: tell the truth, be earnest, apologize, focus on others. If you missed this one it's well worth watching. Very inspirational.

I am what is called a regular visitor. We have been attending several years off and on. Love this new series. I have the following quote as my screen saver at work - it scrolls acoss my monitor. I have it placed strategically in my car and at home to remind me to pause before speaking in haste, anger, bitterness or just with a lack of kindness.

IS IT TRUE? IS IT KIND? WILL IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
