I feel that if you start editing posts then you are defeating the purpose of allowing the free flow of ideas and opinions. The world isn't edited for content or relativity as much as I would like it to be sometimes:)I've been a member for a few years of a Christian forum that allows non-Christians to post and sometimes reading people's posts attacking my religious beliefs has been difficult but I can honestly say that I have always came away having learned SOMETHING.

I'm not a blogging fan, but try it now and then. Once, a couple of weeks ago, I blogged on a subject of great interest in the New York Times and found that all the blogs were edited for content and relativity and there was a delay before they were actually posted.

If that is a possibility for these blogging pages, it would seem to be appropriate.
