I come from a small state just south of here called Texas. I am here by myself waiting for one of my sons to graduate from High School then I will be fully here with my lovely wife and 4 kids. I have been a christian a while and I have been tossed to and fro with A FEW different winds of doctrine in my day. I have been in a place where I was so narrowed minded that I could see through a key hole with both eyes. As I heard you begin the call to Patriotism my hands had a few dew drops and as you began I was again amazed as to what I can learn from others. The first thing I did before I left heaven (I mean Texas) is that I emailed two or three of my most respected pastors ED ROBB, ROB RENFROE,from The Woodlands Methodist Church and it was 100% from the three that I should come to the COR. I was really amazed that they would have this church so deeply seated in there minds. The Woodlands Methodist is got to be one of the top Methodist churchs in the country. If you tell me how many members the COR has I would say the THe Woodlands Methodsit is probably 4% larger. HA! (always about noses nickles and numbers) On any account I got food poison at a local resteraunt on Monday and have been in bed trying to survive but I had time to read your book on controversial issues and was again inspired. So what the hey? I think you have chosen to unveil issues that number one show people that sometimes answers arent black and white. That really takes some nerve. Secondly as a man of 46 I realize after loosing everything in 2007 to a failed business that my hope is in him but not everything is simple and button down. I appreciate my pastors directing me to a pastor who would dare take on the grey and not displace Jesus in the process. Your style is going to when the masses and maybe that was what my pastors were trying to tell me. Thanks ADAM and thanks COR.
